BioShock Infinite Gets a Triple Dose of Screenshots, and a New Documentary

Three high resolution screenshots of BioShock: Infinite have surfaced on AllGamesBeta today, depicting Elizabeth, a Motorized Patriot dressed as George Washington, and members of the Founders faction. The last of whom appear to be patrolling the streets like a pair of stormtroopers. The Founders are described as the game’s jingoistic, nationalistic faction—reminiscent of the real world Tea Party—and are among the two warring factions in Columbia that Booker and Elizabeth will have to deal with as they make their escape from the flying city.

Due to their 1080p resolution, it’s fair to say that the screenshots were produced on the PC version of the game, which supports higher resolution graphics and better visuals than its counterparts on the console.

The screenshots follow the release of the faux-documentary chronicling the mystery of Columbia, the second part of which went online a few days ago. Titled “Columbia: A Modern Day Icarus”, the faux-documentary follows the investigations of fictional journalist Alistar Bloom as he looks into the disappearance of the flying city. In the new episode, Bloom researches the “Songbird”, which fans of the game might know of as Elizabeth’s mechanical guardian. You can watch the first episode here.

BioShock: Infinite is out next month for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
