Bioware Releases E3 Demo Footage from The Old Republic

Without question, one of the most anticipated games in the MMORPG space is Bioware’s Star Wars: The Old Republic. Not only does it have the Star Wars franchise behind it, it also has Bioware’s reputation as an outstanding studio driving interest as well.

If you haven’t heard yet, Bioware showed off a look at some in-game combat footage at E3, and now they’re letting it out into the wild. You can check out a group of players, each playing as one of the four Republic classes, as they defend against a group of enemies.

Standard MMORPG class roles apply, as we see a Trooper tanking, a Jedi Knight providing DPS / Off-Tanking, a Jedi Consular healing, and a Smuggler acting as an off-healer / DPS.

Why am I still talking about this? Just go watch the video after the break!

I guess it looks okays but i think they have tried to differentiate too much in the way of looks compared to the prvious games of the old repubic, which makes the game play look crap. Also one of the previous prince of persia games tried this and it didn’t work too well for them either ( looks to cartoony and not real enough).
