BioWare Sending out Invites for SWTOR Weekend Beta
Star Wars fans, start obsessively refreshing your inboxes, because any second now, you may receive an invitation to this weekend’s Old Republic beta. Beta invites will continue to be sent out throughout this evening and into tomorrow to North Americans who opted into the beta.
If you don’t get in, don’t despair — the Old Republic releases December 20, so you won’t have much longer to wait. It’ll still feel like an eternity, though, but you can pass the time watching TOR trailers and pretending you’re playing the game.
Or just play World of Warcraft in the interim, since they’re basically the same.

at least Bioware was kind enough to give us a release date. Can’t wait to play this masterpiece

yea, the game is actually really good. I got into one of the weekend beta events a couple of weeks ago and had a blast. Its alot better than I expected it to be.

Been playing the beta now for awile and I can say one downside to the game is that it is not as free roaming as World of Warcraft.So dont think youll be wondering tatoowen looking for a sarlac pit.

Got my invite yesterday for this weekend. I loved SWG and the complexities of it. I am curious to see what Bioware did with this one.
