BioWare: We’d Like to Do More Mass Effect

Allow me to go out on a limb here and say that I highly doubt Mass Effect 3 will be the last ME title we see.

And it sounds like BioWare is thinking the same thing.

According to an interview with Forbes for some reason, BioWare founders Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka are interested in continuing to make money from expand and explore the vast Mass Effect universe, but they want to figure out what it is fans would like to see before they go making Halo Wars developing games off tangents from the primary story.

From the interview:

“Certainly the setting has really resonated with people, the type of aliens in the world, the type of people that inhabit space,” Zeschuk said. “Obviously we focus first and foremost on nailing it on this game (Mass Effect 3), and then, you know, the possibilities in the future are very, very broad.”

“We want to make sure it’s awesome. (Mass Effect 3) is our first focus,” Muzyka said. “Beyond that, we do have a desire to continue the Mass Effect franchise, and we’re working on the details, figuring out what the fans want, figuring out the right way.”
