BitFlip is Taking Minion Master to the Penny Aracde Expo!
The Penny Arcade Expo may be the perfect place to showcase BitFlip’s latest game “Minion Masters.” PAX has always been a place where video gamers, table top role players and collectible card masters could come together and celebrate their various hobbies. So what better place than PAX to debut a collectible card, turn based strategy video game?
BitFlip will not only be unveiling their game at PAX, but also giving away cards to players who stop by and check out their booth. If you’ve ever played Magic the Gathering, you know that having the right creatures in your deck makes all the difference when you’re up against a fierce opponent. So if you’re planning on getting into this new game on the ground level and you happen to be at PAX, I’d advise you to free up some time to drop by their booth.
As someone who could never keep their Magic cards in good condition, I really like the idea of a digital collectible trading card game. Plus, the addition of a board and turn based strategy elements is very intriguing. Combat in Minion Masters consists of rounds. Players plan their moves at the beginning of the round and then both player’s moves are resolved simultaneously. All dice rolling and rule applications are handled by the computer, so all the player has to focus on is strategy.
This title has a lot of potential for fans of collectible card games. I hope their debut goes well at PAX and maybe I can get one of my friend’s who is attending to score me a card or two.
