Bizarre Creations Gets Farewell Video

Today is a sad day in the gaming world. Bizarre Creations, developers of Project Gotham Racing, Geometry Wars, Blur, and many more, is officially closing it doors today.

Eamon Urtone was Bizarre’s creative director for six years. To say good-bye to the company that has been his home for so long, he’s created a farewell video featuring the games they created. It’s embedded below for your perusal. There are no words, but really, it doesn’t need any.

RIP Bizarre Studios (1994-2011). You’ll be missed.

Farewell Bizarre…it’s been an absolute pleasure! from Eamon Urtone on Vimeo.

Shame, one of the most interesting and innovative games companies since Grin Studios. I’ll miss them. (PGR2 = my favorite racing game ever! Seriously.)
