… how are Achievements cheats?

Sadly, most games these days don’t come with cheats, so we’ve broadened the definition a bit. Think of “cheats” as anything extra, hidden, special or secret about a game, and achievements fall under that category. But, we’ll be adding lots more to our roster of links in the near future; definitely way more than just achievements! Check back in the coming days, we’ll have easter eggs, collectibles, and tons more that might be more of the type of thing you’re looking for.

Hey, Black Ops even had actual cheat codes! We’re crossing our fingers that they’ll return for Black Ops 2.

Holy response batman! While I’m incredibly pleased at the logic in your reply, I’m terribly old fashioned. It might just be me though, I just find describing a list as such as this with ‘cheats’ is misleading if aren’t actually any. Perhaps ‘unlockables’ might be a better word? Either way, your response is much appreciated.

Gah! I’m dense. Right, Blops had the terminal/computer at the main menu ‘level’.

Kevin – cheats = things that let you cheat. Calling things cheats when they’re clearly nothing of the sort, just because it makes it easier to pigeonhole stuff, is a bit retarded quite frankly. If you want to have an expansive terminology for all secret/unlockable stuff, then the obvious answer is just to call them ‘Secrets’ or ‘Unlockables’. And by the way, I also hate the fact that trophies and achievements are listed under ‘Cheats’ at Gamefaqs and anywhere else it’s done, so don’t think this is a targeted attack or anything.

I used to get angry about it as well until I realized that all sites were calling them cheats years ago however if u think about it even a hint technically is cheating because u did not figure it out for yourself

okay to start off i really like blackops2/multiplayer but i have had many problems like how is that the enemy can shoot every thing but you and still kill you on the kill cam you can see them miss but you still get hit and am i shooting blanks or what i unload a hole clip on the enemy and they just walk right up and kill me also how can they knife if you already passed by the enemy you see that they knife nothing but air you can also see that on the kill cam that they miss this is just sume of the problems im having is anybody else having these problems im starting to think that battle feild3 would have been a better choice at least they fix all those types of issues and if anybody can let treyark know about these problems please do this game has been a major let down!
