Easter Eggs

Keep checking back for new updates! This is a work-in-progress.

Nuketown: How to Play Retro Games [Easter Egg]

  • To play retro Activision games on Nuketown, you’ll need to shoot off the heads of every mannequin on the map in less than 1 minute, 30 seconds.
  • Only the mannequins within the boundaries of the map need to be shot. Mannequin locations cycle randomly.
  • It helps to bring a friend or two to make accomplishing this easier. It can be done on a private match.
  • If you’re successful, check out the large population sign around the center of the map. You’ll find a new prompt, allowing you to interact with the screen.
  • Voila! Now you can play retro games on the monitor. You’ll be able to control them or flip between the different games. You’ll even be invincible while playing, so no one can interrupt until it’s their turn.

Retro Games Included:

  • Pitfall
  • H.E.R.O
  • River Raid
  • Kaboom!

Thor’s Hammer

  • Find this easter egg in the second mission of the campaign, Celerium.
  • Right at the beginning you’ll face an objective above a bunker entrance. Turn around and trudge through the damp trench in the jungles. While moving, you can easily pass by a small cave behind and to your left.
  • Inside this very, very dark cave is a secret. That’s right, it’s Thor’s Hammer embedded in rock. Sadly, you’re not the son of Odin, so you won’t be able to pick this one up.
  • The tiny cave is incredibly dark, so be sure to use the thermal sights to see the hammer’s outline.

Secret Song in Nuketown

  • Note: To hear this song, you’ll need to find hidden collectible teddy bears. Below, we’ll go over the locations of the bears so you can hear for yourself.
  • To interact with the teddy, crouch near them with your reticule over the teddy, and hold down the interaction button [X/Square] until a sound effect chimes.

Teddy Locations

  • Map: Nuketown 2025
  • Location:
    • Teddy #1: The first teddy is found in a chair, in the wrecked bus in the center of the map.
    • Teddy #2: The second teddy is in the backyard of the home with the Nuketown sign out-front. Travel through the house, and turn left and the shed at the edge of the map. Look for a narrow split in the fence to find this hidden teddy.
    • Teddy #3: The last teddy is upstairs, in the yellow building opposite the sign. Climb the stairs and turn around to find a bunk bed, the teddy is on the top bunk. You might have to jump to interact.
  • Once all the teddies have been activated, the music will start.

Nacht Der Undertoten in Tranzit

  • If you go into the Farm on foot, you can explore the cornfields. Beware, you’ll find devious little creatures that try to scratch your eyes out, but you’ll also find a very cool hidden secret.
  • Deep in the cornfields, you can find the very first Zombie Mode survival map from Call of Duty: World at War; Nacht Der Undertoten. The recreated ruin is just how you remembered it, just stripped down to the bare essentials.
  • Treyarch is giving a loving nod to its fans with this hidden location, even if the Nazis are far gone. But, if you look carefully, you can find a special item in one corner with a desk — a piece of Tranzit’s massive “Tower of Babble” easter egg.

    • Teddy #1: On a bench, in the Bus Station right near where you begin.
    • Teddy #2: Found on the Farm, the third stop on your bus ride. Go upstairs and look on a blanket to find the bear.

Getting Kicked off the Bus

  • In Tranzit, you’ll begin inside a Bus Station. Once you buy your way out, or construct the turbine to open the doors, you’ll find an active robotic bus.
  • The bus itself is piloted by a robot driver. Mostly, he’s friendly, but shoot him too many times and he’ll turn on you.
  • If you manage to unload several clips of ammo into the robotic driver, he’ll say, “I hope you’re sorry, asshole.” and kick your butt to the curb.
  • The bus will stop, the doors will lock, and you’ll be outside. End of the line.

Shoot Hoops in Raid

  • Load up the multiplayer map Raid, and you’ll find a basketball court in an outdoor corner of the map.
  • Ahead of the hoop are a handful of basketballs lined up. Line yourself up with the hoop and the basketballs, then shoot or melee either of the two balls near the edge of the platform to make a shot.

I know this may sound off topic, but I just had to say it.

I bought my blackops 2 disk off amazon the other day and inside it there was a coupon code. At first I ignored it and poped in the disk. So anyways I login to multiplayer and this screen pops up saying : "Please enter your 8 digit code to access your exclusive black ops 2 elite gear."

I was like wtf! This is awesome :3

So I type in the code and a screen pops up saying : "Congratulations! You have received winter camo PP7SH spartanF150" The names were images btw.

It was so awesome! The spartanF150 was a 2 shot assault riffle and the PP7SH had a awesome rate of fire.

Idk if the same link will work for you guys, but you can try it.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Tell me if it works :P Gamertag : Damien16
