Black Ops 2 Is Getting A Kawaii Personalization Pack

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is getting a whole bunch of microtransactions added to the game, all of which allow players to customize their weapons with new skins, and don a new emblem to show off their purchase.

Among these new microtransactions, which are referred to as “micro items” by Activision, is this particular piece of horror that those of you who enjoy covering your emblems with pink images of Hello Kitty are sure to love: the Kawaii Personalization Pack.

The Kawaii pack is among eight of the skins being added to the game today. If the name doesn’t tip you off, it basically skins your weapon to look like the lunchbox of a little Japanese schoolgirl.

Here’s what the description reads: “Inspired by the ‘happy-go-lucky’ sub-culture of Japanese Pop Art, the Call of Duty®: Black Ops II Kawaii MP Personalization Pack comes loaded with a Kawaii-themed weapon skin, three uniquely-shaped reticles, and an all-new themed Calling Card by which your enemies can remember you. (NOTICE: Reticles will only be available for ACOG, EOTech, Hybrid and Reflex optics.)”

The other packs are: Bacon, Zombie, Benjamins, Dia De Muertos, Party Rock, Viper, and Jungle Warfare.

Have at it (on the Xbox 360), ladies and gents. It’s also available on PSN for players on the PlayStation 3.
