Black Ops Makes a Billion

Merry Christmas to Activision, and to the folks at Treyarch. Too bad they’re going to have to work overtime through the holidays to count all the money they’ve made from Call of Duty: Black Ops.

According to a press release, Black Ops has now reached the $1 billion mark in worldwide sales.

Let’s face it, there’s no surprise here. We knew this was coming, so let’s not act like we didn’t. Still, it’s a pretty strong showing for a game that was one of our Most Overhyped of 2010.
