Blizzard Touts Diablo III’s Harder Difficulties — Get Ready to Die (VIDEO)

Diablo III gets some pretty high difficulty modes. Nightmare — often the top-tier difficulty for games that decide to include something called “Nightmare” — is merely one of the difficulties on Diablo III’s list. Allow me a second to impress this upon you: that s–t gets harder than a nightmare. There are difficulties in Diablo III that transcend dealing with Freddie Krueger.

Check out the video below, in which Blizzard devs explain a little bit about the level of difficulty you can expect in Diablo III. They promise you’ll get your ass kicked.

hard? no lol

it just means you have to farm more for better gear, like WoW no strategy at all.

LoL, I’m not a fan of World of Warcraft, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say it contains no strategy. If you took the time to research some of the boss fights from either back in its release or with the most recent expansion, you would see that raids actually require a lot of strategy and gear comes second to organization and knowledge of the fights.

Either way, I can’t wait for Diablo 3. I’ve already made sure my health insurance covers carpal tunnel syndrome.
