Blizzard’s Hearthstone Beta Is Just Around The Corner

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will be out soon—at least in beta form. According to a post on Blizzard’s official website for Hearthstone, the developers are “not days away from launching the beta, but we’re not months away either.”

The developer states that it is planning to launch a dedicated beta in each of the game’s regions: North America, Europe, Korea, and Taiwan, with fully localized builds. The game will be out in North America before it hits the other regions.

“At the Hearthstone announcement we committed to going into beta testing before the summer was over, and the team has been pulling out all the stops to make that happen,” continues the post.

“Sometimes that has meant ditching meetings to fix a gnarly bug, and it’s often meant working long hours to get that additional layer of polish in. It’s a pretty intense time, and what keeps us going is that we’re just as excited as you guys about the release of the beta.”

Hearthstone was first announced at PAX East in March, and is expected to be released in full before the end of the year. In the meantime, be sure to check out our hands-on preview.
