I was originally going to post this as a rumor — since it wasn’t listed on GameStop’s website — but then Ron mentioned that he actually received these same items when he pre-ordered the game, and that’s good enough for me. Anyway, it seems there’s a special deal going on with certain retailers where you can net yourself some cool schwag for pre-ordering the upcoming Fallout 3. Specifically, if you pre-order the game, you can get a free poster and a CD containing five music tracks from the game:
1. I Dont Want To Set The World On Fire – The Ink Spots
2. Way Back Home – Bob Crosby
3. Butcher Pete (part 1) – Roy Brown
4. Main Title – Inon Zur
5. Megaton – Inon Zur
Not a bad deal if you’re a hardcore Fallout fan.

So all three hardcore Fallout fans can rejoice.
Sorry, I played both games for a few minutes and I didn’t dig. Don’t think anyone who isn’t a freak did.
And this is coming from someone who played through both Diablo games, NWN and its expansions, Mass Effect, KoTOR I and II… I love RPG’s. But only good ones.

I can admit, I’m not hardcore enough to want a poster and 5 tracks from the game. But I still loved both Fallouts, although the first one was best. Like normal. Rick, that’s just your opinion. Try not to project it onto others.

“Don’t think anyone who isn’t a freak did.”
Nerd rage rising.
Also, it looks like the only ones you’ve played are action heavy, real-time RPGs. Just because other people don’t share your tastes doesn’t make them freaks.
Oh, and the pre-order swag isn’t too interesting. In fact, Inon Zur doing tomorrow-land science fiction, post apocalyptic music worries me. Besides, the elephant in the room here is that everyone’s probably going to download said five songs illegally.

Elephant in the room: a subject which everyone politely ignores by not bringing it up. I mean, seriously, if no one else notices and points out “What the hell’s an elephant doing in here?”, why should you?
