Borderlands 2 Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage DLC Coming Nov. 20

Borderlands 2′s Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage DLC will release on November 20th, according to Mr. Torgue himself. Well, according to the Twitter account that developer Gearbox created for him, at least.

Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage will be the second DLC pack for Borderlands 2, following Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, which was released last month. Now that Gearbox has resolved the Xbox save error, you can jump back in and get ready for some carnage.

Randy Pitchford confirmed that more classes are coming to the game, though whether any are coming in this second DLC is still unknown.

Based on the information released on this DLC, this sounds like another Moxxi’s Underdome. Circle of Slaughter, in my opinion, was and still is the weakest part of both games.

The previews I’ve read said that the arena battles are a part of it, but there is still plenty of mission based content. Gearbox is seems pretty aware that a pure arena DLC isn’t something that many people want to see. What I’m less than thrilled about is that this DLC won’t raise the level cap. Gearbox has said that there is something special that they are doing in addition to raising the cap, but there aren’t any details.

There are already two arenas, I don’t see why we need more.
