Bring Down the Sky in Mass Effect Now

mass-effect.jpg

The first of what I hope is many downloadable content add-ons for Mass Effect has been released. The “Bring Down the Sky” pack adds a whole new mission to take part in, complete with 50 new Gamerscore points worth of Achievements. They don’t come without a price, however, as the pack costs 400 Microsoft Points.

Batarian extremists have hijacked a mobile asteroid station in the Asgard system, setting it on a collision course with the nearby colony world of Terra Nova. Only you can save the human hostages on the asteroid and reroute it before it crashes into the world, killing millions of innocent civilians.

As I explained previously, you’ll need to have control of the Normandy to access the new content. So if you don’t have a save handy from that point in the game, you’re going to have to play through the first few hours of the game in order to get to it.
