Bueno! Tropico 5 Release Date Announced

El Presidente will return to power next month.

Kalypso Media announced this morning that Tropico 5 will launch for PC on May 23 in Europe, May 27 in North America. The previously announced Xbox 360 and Mac versions will follow sometime this summer, PlayStation 4 in the fall. Kalypso also revealed it is working on a Steam OS/Linux version of Tropic 5, which will launch when Steam Machines hit the market.

After the somewhat pedestrian Tropico 4 and the lost-its-banana-republic-charm expansion, Modern Times, developer Haemimont Studios has its work cut out. But co-op and competitive multiplayer modes, the big new addition in Tropico 5, could go a long way in righting the ship.

Well, I, for one, liked Tropico 4 and its lost-its-banana-republic-charm expansion, Modern Times.
