the manufacture of mods should be banned. anyone who cheats will pay. i like it. im sick of losing to talentless kids with modded system/controllers, and boosting their “ping”, and all of that other cheating stuff. ill never ever ever cheat at a game. ever. otherwise how do you have any pride in winning. wtf is the world coming to when cheaters ruin your good time on one of the most technologically advanced forms of entertainment? wtf ? didnt people who cheated at poker in the wild west get banned from saloons. oh yeah they just killed your ass. good thing this is modern times. but if its needed bungie, i offer my services as executioner to all proven cheaters. i will kill them all for you for free. i hate them and they ruin my games and make me mad and sad and frustrated and pissed i ever bought halo and got into it at all. f halo. im going to play all bethesda one player games until micro soft in the head fixes this cheating bs

ok, i got banned for halo 3 matchmaking for doing the perfer language glitch so i could play with my buddy in lone wolves. Let me start off by saying, Greg’s a docuhe. And yeah, the cheating on halo 3 is pretty sad. On team doubles if you happen to play on the pit, you sometimes respawn in a room that is impossible to get to because its so high, so if the team with the lead happens to respawn up there, they’ll crouch and camp in the corners. Pathetic. People also learn how to throw grenades then launch themselves out of sight on Guardian. AND…bioshock’s offline mode “or ‘campain’ as kids on the short bus call it” is godly. Halo 3′s offline, not so much.

Well, here is a mighty fine example of the trash talking I’ve been talking about. Now, in this other Peter fellow, he basically gave you constructive critism. Mind you, he didn’t need to call you a douche, but you could have said “you know what, maybe I’ll think about what he said, minus the douche part, and act more sensible, and not start a stupid little war”.

Before you open your mouth and look like an idiot like you have now, think of something logical to say back, that is, if you want to start a fight. If not, ignore it, and continue with the way you type or talk.

Only been on Live for a short time with H3, but I’m always for banning of cheaters. As for banning of trash talking, I certainly welcome that, however as a stop-gap measure, I’ve found the mute button to be a definite friend.

The banhammer should also be swung at those who trash talk, ie the 5 year old kids who have nothing better to do but annoy the shit out of you. I’ve always found it amazing how different online video games are compared to real sports. When online, if you trash talk, and aren’t joking when you say *censored* you deserve to be thrown out of an online game for a month. In my opinion, there should be ways of putting all these people who do this together, and let them hash at each other, so that the normal, easy going guys, who just occasionally get slightly angry, can play together in harmony. But alas, it happens not like that, though I do wish it did.I suppose that’s why the complaint and rep system is there.

Anyways, I’ve yet to come across any cheaters (that I know of), and even in Halo, I only came across one once, but heard of people modding the game so that the sniper rifle turns into a machine gun, the SMG or Battle rifle shoot out an elite, etc. I’ve never come across these however, but hopefully, bungie will use the hammer effectively.

Greg, if you want your opinion to matter, make it legible and clear. You’ll never be taken seriously if you spell “campaign” or “board” wrong. We ALL got what he meant when he said “offline game mode” except for you. He provided an opinion based on alot of reviews, you just spoke your opinion without backing anything up.
