Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Gets New Multiplayer Modes This Weekend

Straight from the tweeting fingers of Infinity Ward Creative Strategist Robert Bowling comes confirmation that new content — of a sort — is making its way into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

“Ready for new game modes for Modern Warfare 3?,” Bowling wrote on his Twitter feed. “I’ve got some surprises for you for the weekend. I’ll confirm full details tomorrow!”

Bowling and Infinity Ward have been hinting at additional multiplayer modes coming to MW3, but we still don’t have any details as to what they’re actually planning. Apparently, we’ll have to wait for tomorrow to hear what’s actually coming, but it sounds like if you fire up MW3 this weekend, you’ll have new stuff to try out.

Here’s hoping it’ll be as inventive as the new modes that Epic Games consistently rolls out every weekend for Gears of War 3.

Check back here tomorrow for full details on what’s planned for MW3 multiplayer.

Considering that this is Call of Duty, it’s not going to be that innovative at all.
