Catherine Sells 500k

So Catherine was Atlus’ biggest launch ever. How big has it been for them since? Here’s how big: 500,000 copies have been sold.

I thought we had established that Catherine is not a good game. I thought my preaching would cause its numbers to take a dive after that 200,000 copy first week. But no, y’all just keep on supporting bad games.

Although, to be fair, this could be worse. 500,000 is big for Atlus, but it’s not Homefront numbers, certainly, and Homefront sucked just as much.

I don’t really know what I’m saying anymore. How about this: Stop buying Catherine. Sorry, Atlus. I know I’m an ornery old fool.

I think Starbucks coffee is terrible and most people not only buy it, but seem to love it. Sometimes one person’s terrible is another person’s awesome.

(seriously though, buy a cup of coffee, no cream no sugar, and seel what quality coffee bean it’s actually made with. Blech!)
