
Championship Gaming Series (CGS) kicks off its first season Electronic Arts’ development studio in Los Angeles. CGS Region 1 teams L.A. compLexity, New York 3D, Dallas Venom, Chicago Chimera, San Francisco Optx, and Carolina Core will be battling it out a this EA sponsored event. The teams were formed from the finest professional gamers from US and Canada at the inaugural player draft at the Playboy Mansion which I covered in June.
CGS Region 1 teams include the following FIFA 07 stars:
Felipe “KreeganBG” Stoyne (L.A. compLexity)
Matt “WiZaKoR” Wood (New York 3D)
Isidro “Novusnaim” Sifuentes (Dallas Venom)
Andrew “anomaly” Brock (Chicago Chimera)
Alessandro “Stermy” Avallone (San Francisco Optx)
Nicholas “peekay” DePalmer (Carolina Core)
Matches started on Wednesday, June 27 and run through Friday, July 6. You can check out the action on thecgs.com as the teams compete in LIVE BROADBAND MATCHES next week at the following dates and times:
JULY 2-3, 5-6 8:00pm (ET) / 5:00pm (PT)
10:00pm (ET) / 7:00pm (PT)
12:00am (ET) / 9:00pm (PT)
CGS regular season will be feature live on DIRECTV’s channel 101 on cable tv.
