Championship Gaming Series and Creative Team Up

Creative is now the official supplier of all things audio for Championship Gaming Series. Members of the CGS will be supplied with sound cards, sound processors and headsets by Creative. The company is working with CGS to develop “an elite line of CGS-approved gaming accessories which have been battle-tested by CGS pro gamers under extreme conditions and approved by CGS for the highest level of professional gaming competition.” The new offerings will pull from the Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio family, Xtreme Gamer family and Fatal1ty family as well as the Fatal1ty Gaming Headset family.

I can’t understand how a gamer who demands the best GPU possible isn’t equally demanding of their audio. Whether you’re a hardcore gamer or play for pleasure, sound effects and soundtracks can make or break a game. They pump that adrenaline infusion into high gear at just the right time. Having a great sound card and a comfortable surround sound headset to deliver the goods is imperative for an immersive gaming experience.
