SNK Playmore has announced that they have shipped Fatal Fury: Battle Archives Vol. 1 on the PS2 for the low, low price of $14.99. The disc will contain four classic games: Fatal Fury, Fatal Fury 2, Fatal Fury Special and Fatal Fury 3: Road to The Final Victory. The series has the distinction of being the first of its kind to offer a two-plane arena, so players could dodge attacks more effectively. This also marks the first time the Fatal Fury series has ever appeared on the PS2. And hey, for fifteen bucks, that ain’t too shabby of a deal at all.

And the best part of a game like this isn’t the graphics anyway. It’s staying up all night playing vs. mode with a buddy.
