Check out Fallout: New Vegas’ Art Direction in New Developer Diary

Three weeks. That’s the all time we have left until Fallout: New Vegas hits shelves all over North America.

The folks over at Obsidian have been doling out some nice dev diaries, including the recent one that detailed the story behind the game. This week, they’re giving us a behind the scenes look at how they came up with the art direction and unique style they’ve employed for the Vegas Strip and surrounding areas.

You’ll hear how the Rat Pack influenced the team, as well as how New Vegas will differ from the Capital Wasteland of Fallout 3. Head on over and check out the trailer, or download it from our fast, free servers.

If you need more info about Fallout: New Vegas, may I humbly suggest our New Vegas E3 hands-on? If you want to know if Fallout 3 fans will just be getting more of the same, you may find Phil’s PAX 2010 hands-on preview very enlightening. If you’ve already got a copy of the game, why not take advantage of our detailed walkthru, or our complete cheats page?
