Check Out Inxile’s First Wasteland 2 Screen Shot

Crowd-funded Wasteland 2 has its first screenshot, which developer Inxile teased through the game’s massively successful Kickstarter campaign.

The shot, seen above, includes a bunch of guys fighting a big-ass scorpion — otherwise known as a Scorpitron.

It’s worth noting that this is a pretty early screenshot, and as Inxile’s Brian Fargo mentioned in his Kickstarter update, the screen is missing things like particle effects. It also sounds as though the art direction of the game is still developing.

What do you guys think? Did you contribute to Wasteland 2? Are you excited?

Darn right I contributed. What fool wouldn’t wanna get a game like that for $15? I have every confidence in Fargo and company. The classic game types and franchises have languished for so long, overlooked by the buffoons controlling the industry. Amazing how their so out of touch with the market that consumers have to underwrite the creation of products they actually want.
