Check Out Screens For Uncharted-Esque ‘Adventurer’ FPS

Polish developer The Farm 51 has released a few under the rader games over the past few years, but they might just blow up big with their current work in progress, an obviously Uncharted-influenced first person shooter/action game called ‘Adventurer’. Running on Unreal 3, it is what it sounds like, a globe-trotting classic pulp style adventure game with settings ranging from jungle temples to arctic wastes. Players will take the role of a P.I. searching for a magical macguffin and, well, you can bet there will be long-thought-gone ancient evils to confront.

The Farm 51 has released the first in-game screenshots, and because we love you, we’ve got them below. Sure, it’s very uncharted-y, but we’re looking forward, and we’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more.

Huh…I am intrigued. Looks like a nice change of pace from all the military/Sci Fi shooters that dominate the genre these days. Hopefully the gameplay and characters are as good as the screens look.

If the pacing is more Condemned than CoD then this could be a nice change of pace for the FPS genre and one to keep an eye on. If it is going to do the Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider/Uncharted thing it would be nice for the tone to go more IJ toungue in cheek rather than TR/U take itself seriously.
