Check Out the Story Behind the Game in Homefront: The Voice of Freedom

We’ve been seeing a lot of information coming out of Kaos Studios about their upcoming shooter, Homefront. Most recently, they rolled out a timeline showing the various events that led up to the game, including the Korean Occupation of America.

Now they’re giving you a chance to read a little bit about what life is like in the world of Homefront, circa 2026. Over on the official Homefront community site, they’ve just published Chapter 1 of a narrative titled “Homefront: The Voice of Freedom.”

A quick scan reveals that it’s a fictional work highlighting life in an occupied America. No word on whether the characters in this work are appearing in game, or if this is something entirely different. Either way, it should get you in right frame of mind to play Homefront, which is coming to PC, PS3 and XBox 360 on March 8.
