China Rising DLC Hits Battlefield 4 Premium on Dec 3rd

China Rising, the first round of DLC for Battlefield 4, will unlock for BF4 Premium members on December 3rd.

The date is listed on the Premium calendar in Battlelog. While the date is subject to change, I’m sure, the first round of DLC should be hitting in just over a month. Premium members get a two-week head-start on DLC, so non-Premium BF4 players will get the DLC on December 17th.

The tagline for China Rising is: “Fight for dominance across the vast and majestic Chinese mainland in four massive maps, using new vehicles and high-tech military equipment.” So the DLC in BF4 is about the same as in BF3: New maps, and some new hardware. Some of the other four planned DLC packs to follow should also include new game modes, similar to how BF3′s End Game included Capture the Flag.

Who in the Game Front Peanut Gallery is playing Battlefield 4, anyway? Are you enjoying the controlled chaos, or have you spurned Levolution as you wait for COD: Ghosts? Leave your thoughts on DICE’s latest in the comments.

The Campaign is crap. No real spoilers, but if you dont like any at all skip to the next paragraph. The only reason to finish it is to get the weapon for each of the endings. Tying my Bullet Hose M249 to it was ty.

The multiplayer is pretty damn fun. The MP map with the breakable damn to flood the map is really really fun, as is the just about every other map. The only one i felt was underwhelming is the one with the giant damn, because it really doesnt change the map in any real way. No new points, doesnt cut off any routes, doesnt make a new point, etc. Could have been better if it made a river in the center that you couldnt really swim through due to currents.

The unlock system isnt as bad as i thought it would be. the battlepacks are pretty cool, and adding the first unlocks (generally a scope, grip, and laser sight) to the gun automatically is a great addition.

Overall, destruction is a bit better than BF3, with alot of buildings ( on certain maps) that fall down entirely.
