China laid the ban hammer down on a sex game operator in Beijing. These sex games popping up all over China are seen by the government as a form of corrupting the youth. This is part of their new move to crack down on gaming addiction and law violators. The articles popping up all over the net make it look like China is in the process of unleashing large scale operations to crack down on these adult oriented games, yet this particular one titled ‘Girlfriend Hut’ only had around 700 paying players. That doesn’t sound like a big catch to me. In the past few years, China has seemed hell bent on restricting information on the web, but can you really ever get rid of cyber sex material? I think cyber sex is lame myself, but if you don’t find it in games, it’s not hard to find a chat room or an instant messenger. Porn is basically a permanent resident on the ‘www’ whether people like it or not.
BEIJING: The Chinese police have arrested a man for allegedly profiting from a self-produced Internet game involving cyber sex.
By the time Dai was arrested on June 5, he had made more than 30,000 yuan (USD 3,900) from the game’s 700 paying subscribers, a spokesman with the Ministry of Public Security said on Wednesday.
A failed Internet company manager, Dai invented a porn cyber game featuring human sexual activity in March and set up a paid website to promote the game called “Girlfriend Hut”.
“In recent years, Internet games have become a booming and profitable market, but some games with a sexually explicit nature are corrupting China’s vast number of young players,” the spokesman said.
Police found that Dai’s website had attracted more than 200,000 registered members before it was stopped, reportes said.

What the hell, the guy probably needed the money. Who cares if he earned it from an adult game, that wasn’t meant for kids, a job’s a job, and if you, or anyone, doesn’t like that, you can go fornicate yourself/selves with an iron stick!
