Chrono Trigger is Coming to the Playstation Network Oct. 4, For Real This Time

Guess what — Chrono Trigger is coming to the Playstation Network Tuesday, Oct. 4. No, it’s not a joke! It’s real! I know, I know: last time, you say incredulously, it wasn’t real. But I assure you, as the Official Playstation Blog assures me, it is real.

Unfortunately, that’s all the details we have at this time. At least, from this latest announcement post.

What we don’t know is what Chrono Trigger is going to cost, although I’d be surprised to see it go for less than $15. We also don’t know what in the hell happened to Final Fantasy VI, but someone should probably organize a search party. And finally, we don’t know if the PSN version will have the excessive load times that the original PSone port did way back in the 1990s.

Even so, stay tuned for Oct. 4 and get your downloading finger ready.
