Civilization V For Mac Is Coming In 2010

Mac users nationwide can let out a shout of history nerd joy; their expensive hipster machine will finally do more for them than get them dates. On October 19th, Aspyr announced that our1 dreams of understanding why our PC friends aren’t sleeping will come true in 2010. Civilization V is “expected” to be available for Mac by the Holiday season:

“Aspyr Media, Inc. announced today they will publish Sid Meier’s Civilization®
V for Mac, the latest entry from the flagship turn-based strategy franchise. Released in partnership with 2K Games… The Mac version is expected to be available this holiday season.”

According to the press release, Civ V for Mac will closely match the features of the PC version, including fully animated leaders, dynamic diplomatic and combat interactions, and the hexagonal tiles that have been praised to the stars by everyone on earth. More announcements to follow – those of us enslaved to Steve Jobs can keep up with the latest information at Aspyr’s official site.
