Classic RPG LUNAR Remake Announced for iOS

The awesome classic game news for iPhone and iPad owners continues to roll in: first it was a port of the DS version of Final Fantasy III, then Atari released Atari’s Greatest Hits — which includes 100 of their old games.

Now it looks like we’ll be receiving an iOS version of the classic JRPG goodness of LUNAR: The Silver Star Story.

The game is in the capable hands of iOS developer SoMoGa, which put together another old-style RPG in a game called Vray. That one was well-received, and given the PSX remake of LUNAR from the late 1990s, LUNAR: Silver Star Story COMPLETE, I don’t see how this could go badly at all.

Unfortunately, we’ve got no more details than that. When more LUNAR information becomes available, you can bet I will be excitedly posting about it.
