Clint Hocking (Maybe) Joins Valve

When Far cry 2 creative lead Clint Hocking left LucasArts last month, he didn’t indicate what his plans were other than that he was “moving on to something new.” He did confirm he had a job lined up, however, and today he revealed what it is: He’s going to work for Billionaire Gabe Newell.

He hasn’t officially announced it, but Hocking tweeted a picture of his son playing on the famous Valve sculpture in the company’s HQ, with accompanying text that read “Arrival. (and Son).” Assuming he’s now working there, no doubt he’ll be taking over management of Newell’s fabled money bin, or perhaps making sure that Valve’s fleet of gold plated jets remain fully stocked with Crystal. Or perhaps shining Newell’s monocle.
