Comic-Con 2011: First Screenshot of TellTale’s “Walking Dead” Game Is Poignant, Spooky

What began as a beloved series of graphic novels, then continued as a TV show, is now being made into a video game. TellTale Games, master of story-driven adventures, were a great choice for the license; judging by the screenshot below looks it’s in extremely competent hands.

The picture really nails key elements of the Walking Dead world: the Southern Gothic setting of the motel, the father’s wary expression, and the subtle pencil-style hatching on his shirt. TellTale might have missed the mark when it comes to Back to the Future, but they don’t look likely to repeat their mistakes this time around.
