Comic-Con 2011: Adam West to Promote Family Guy Online MMO

While playing World of Warcraft or Generic MMORPG #87, did you ever wish you could play as Peter Griffin?

Me neither.

But Fox recently announced that it is developing Family Guy Online, a free-to-play, browser-based, 3D multiplayer game, based on TV’s quirky cartoon family. Well, TV’s other quirky cartoon family. You can create a character, become a citizen of virtual Quahog, and play and interact with your friends and favorite show characters.

While I wonder what kind of gameplay Family Guy Online will offer, the price means there’s no excuse not to check this one out when it launches later this year.

For those attending Comic-Con, on Saturday, Adam West will make a special Comic-Con appearance signing limited edition Family Guy Online posters for fans starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Fox Fanfare booth (#4313).
