Kingdom Come: Deliverance Coming to Xbox One, PS4

You now have your choice of platform for Warhorse Studios’ realistic medieval RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

In a new update on the Kingdom Come: Deliverance Kickstarter page, the developers reveal that their crowdfunded project has been approved for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

What’s that means for the existing 27,000-plus backers? Warhorse says that if your tier reward was a digital copy of the game, you now have the choice of Kingdom Come on PC, PS4, or the Xbox One. The devs note that if you are at the boxed copy tier, only a digital version of Kingdom Come is planned for consoles, but they’ll send you the box along with a download code if you so choose.

As for early access, Warhorse says the alpha will be PC only, but it is currently exploring a console beta.

In related news, Warhorse reports that it is partnering with Chris Roberts and the team behind that other crowdfunding darling, Star Citizen. Both games are being created using Crytek’s CryEngine, and Roberts reached out to Warhorse to see if they could share some engine tricks and tips. Warhorse agreed, so we should be seeing a little Star Citizen in our Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and vice versa.
