Ready for some standard FPS training? Here, you’ll learn how to move, look, jump, all that good stuff. The Bishop will also gain his PCU – basically, you can recharge energy by recycling junk in the game-world.
Your utility energy has two uses at this point; healing and repair .
After taking a bullet from the AI enemy, press to start regenerating health. Return to the platform to gain some chest and head armor.
Another soldier will appear, and take a shot. Try repair to fix up that wrecked armor. It’s important to realize that repairing armor uses less energy than healing.
Jump back onto the platform to appear in a new area. Taking the ramps down, the Bishop will find an actual weapon. The Energy Assault Rifle is your Bishop’s primary weapon.
The rifle has two functions. [Left-Mouse] fires non-lethal sonic blasts that incapacitate enemies, while [Right-Mouse] shoots them with a lethal plasma beam.
When an enemy is incapacitated, walk up and press [E] to knock them out permanently. It takes a few seconds to complete the process, but the Bishop can tag up to six opponents at once with knock-out nanites.
Next up, grab the Kinetic Rifle. This is a little more standard – primary fire shoots armor-piercing bullets. Secondary fire launches a non-lethal grenade that’ll knock mercs out if they’re caught in the blast.
When you’re done playing with these weapons, you can leave by traveling back up the ramp to the marked exit. Don’t worry, there are more virtual training scenarios.
