Return to Mission Operations to meet Kiril on the holo-comm. He’s busy talking to Knight 15. Even while threatening an all-out attack K15 doesn’t take him seriously. When I agree with her (+2) she thinks Kiril is all bravado.
When Wade announces a boarding carrier over CMS, the situation only becomes more dire. An EMP energy weapons knocks out the vessel’s systems and a missile strikes the starboard side, wounding two members of the crew.
Running up to the wounded man, just press [E] to begin healing. It uses Utility Energy, but that can be recharged.
The ship is on high-alert and defenseless when Kiril contacts the bridge again.
Here comes a decision. Convince Kiril to board the ship by pretending to surrender, or try to stall him and wait for weapons to come back online.
I chose to stall him, but R25 doesn’t agree, and they override the option. Looks like they want to pretend to surrender.
After a short discussion with Knight, Kiril wants to talk to you. Be considerate, and don’t taunt him. Making him angry will blow the entire plan.
For the conversation to go smoothly, follow this order: F1, F1, F4.
Unfortunately, keeping Kiril’s ego inflated leads to a whole new problem. He reveals that a murder has taken place to the entire crew.
Not only that, but whoever hired Kiril has also turned one of the crew. The mercs have an inside man on the Zenlil. This is just getting more and more complicated.
You can push Kiril for more information, but he’ll only lie and say the murder was an accident. I walked into that one, this guy isn’t giving any straight answers.
When the conversation is over, the boarding will begin. The crew will enter lockdown, and R25 will lead the Bishop to the emergency weapons locker.
Move to the locker near the stairs. You should see a large “UNLOCK” screen. Interact, and grab one of each weapon. Take all the ammo and grenades you can carry. Double left-click to put the items in your inventory, they’ll instantly appear on the quick-select bar on your HUD.
Now we have a choice. Take the upper hatch or lower hatch to Avionics. Like Obi-Wan, let’s take the high-ground. Press the ladder button to open the upper hatch and climb up.
Time for a little combat.
