Countdown to Mass Effect

BioWare’s Mass Effect may not be out until November 20, but it’s already getting plenty of attention.

WorthPlaying reports the game has been banned in Singapore because of the controversial lesbian sex scene, no matter how tastefully the implied sexual liaison is represented as.

BioWare is already amassing a number of nominations for the Spike TV awards including: Game of the Year, Best RPG, Best Graphics, Best Original Score, and Best Xbox 360 Game. There will also be a Game Head exclusive new look at Mass Effect on Spike TV at Friday night (10pm PST, 1am EST). The Sci-fi Channel Mass Effect Special starts November 20.

For those of you looking forward to Mass Effect and not shy about spoilers, there’s a complete achievement list.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been excited for a game like Mass Effect.
