Counter-Strike 2 Question Flusters Gabe Newell

Over at the Intel Extreme Masters pro gaming tournament, Gabe Newell has been showing off Steam Guard and handing out his personal Steam password. However, he looked a lot more like a flustered gamer when he was asked an awkward question by Intel VP Shmuel “Mooly” Eden.

Watch this video to see it.

You can tell he didn’t see this one coming. I’ll bet he was expecting to be asked about Half-Life 2: Episode 3. Obviously, it’s not a confirmation of anything, but it does show that Gabe gets just as tongue-tied as the rest of his when he’s put on the spot in front of a crowd.

Even though it’s not a confirmation, at least he didn’t say there aren’t any plans for Counter-Strike 2. Hopefully that will placate the folks who are hungry to hear about a sequel to the phenomenally successful shooter.
