Critical Mass Working on A Boondock Saints Game

The 1999 action film The Boondock Saints is receiving the video game treatment, with Critical Mass Interactive spearheading the project. According to its website, Critical Mass Interactive was recently awarded interactive development rights to The Boondock Saints, and cast members from the movie, including Norman Reedus, will be making an announcement during the ScreenBurn Arcade portion of next month’s SXSW Interactive festival in Austin, TX.

Critical Mass Interactive generally handles outsourced art, design and programming duties for other developers, listing The Outfit and The Incredible Hulk among its past projects. What, exactly, we can expect is anyone’s guess, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see something à la Saints Row.

What do you expect?
