Crunchyroll/Microsoft Partnership Means Anime Streaming to Xbox

giant killing Microsoft is partnering with anime video streaming web site Crunchyroll to make downloadable episodes available on the Xbox 360.

Using the Zune Marketplace, anime superfans can snag episodes of shows including Giant Killing, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Yokuwakaru Gendai Maho. In addition to Xbox Live’s Zune system, they’ll be available on Windows PCs as well.

Destructoid is reporting that none of those titles have been available for digital download before now, and Giant Killing is still currently seeing episodes aired in Japan and meaning those of you with mouths foaming for anime, you’ll be able to see them within a week of your Asia-based counterparts.
