Crysis 2: Maximum Edition Announced

With Crysis 3 announced and further details expected to arrive next week at E3, you may just be in the mood for some quality time with good ol’ Crysis 2. For anyone who hasn’t played the series’ second installment — or is a diehard fan — the Crysis 2: Maximum Edition will give you the full experience and then some.

Available digitally for the PC via Origin.com and third party digital retailers starting May 29, 2012, the Crysis 2: Maximum Edition features all the content found in the Crysis 2: Limited Edition plus two previously released DLC packs, Retaliation and Decimation, all for $39.99.

The Maximum Edition offers 9 additional multiplayer maps, 2 new weapons, bonus XP, weapon skins and attachments, and unique dog tags that were not included in the standard retail package for Crysis 2.

The Crysis 2: Maximum Edition features:

    • FY71 Assault Rifle
    • M18 Smoke Grenade
  • Bonus MP XP
  • SCAR digital weapon skin

And did anyone notice that with this release, Crysis 2 is back on Steam again? I wonder if Dragon Age 2 will show up on Steam again too if some sort of complete edition is released.
