Dead Block Looks Like ‘Home Alone’ With Zombies (TRAILER)

Take the popular Zombies mode from Call of Duty: Black Ops and mix it with goofy graphics and traps that would make Kevin McCallister proud — that’s Dead Block.

Set during the ’50s and heavily involving rock and/or roll (the hellspawn music is the reason for the dead returning to life, apparently), the primary third-person gameplay has players setting traps for zombies to stumble into, as well as a lot of barricading entrances and defending themselves with blunt objects. You can check out the trailer below.

A quick glance at Dead Block’s website tells us that it’ll feature 10 single-player levels and another eight co-op multiplayer levels. It packs three characters, so that’ll likely be where the multiplayer feature tops out, and uses the Unreal Engine 3.
