Don’t Go to Dead Island — Zombies Will Ruin Your Vacation and Kill Your Children

People sure do love their zombie games. Yes they do. I, for one, feel like they’re pretty passé at this point, but you know how the games industry works; it’s all about exploiting things forever and ever.

Despite Phil Owen’s zombie reservations, I still love and respect the genre. The key to making a great zombie story is making it about people, not about zombies. That doesn’t happen too often — but at least Dead Island’s trailer gets pretty close. And no, I don’t just like it because of sad music.

Felt very LOST-like. The eye at the open (or ending) and the slow music. That being said, I love LOST, I’m in.
