Dead Space 2 Confirmed for PC

One of the most popular titles of 2008 was Visceral Games’ Dead Space. Players jumped into the shoes of Isaac Clarke, an engineer who ends up battling an alien infestation aboard the spaceship Ishimura.

The sequel to Dead Space was announced in September 2009, but there’s been no word on whether PC gamers would get the sequel on their platform. Well, until last night. During EA’s detailing of its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2010 results, they list Dead Space 2 as coming to consoles, handheld/mobile and PC.

Now, I’m not sure how they’re going to get Dead Space 2 onto my cell phone, but I’m excited to hear that it’s coming to PC again. Now if they can just adapt the UI and menu system to work better on PC than the first game‘s did, I’ll be one happy camper.
