Dead Space 3 on PC to Be A Straight Console Port

The PC version of Dead Space 3 will be a straight port of the console versions.

What this means is that the PC version won’t include DirectX 11 support, high-resolution textures, or any other graphical enhancements beyond those seen on the PS3 or Xbox 360.

This is, arguably, the second piece of grim DS3 news in as many days, with yesterday bringing word that the sequel will include microtransactions in its crafting system. Rather than grind for the resources necessary to craft weapons, you can purchase them through the in-game shop with real money. While it isn’t explicitly stated that you’ll have to grind endlessly if you choose not to pay, speculation suggests resource drop rates are tooled to encourage usage of the shop.

The PC version of Black Ops 2 is a direct Xbox 360 port, the only controller that functions on it for the PC is the Xbox 360 controller. There is no DX 11, no High Rez textures and hell there aren’t even any dedicated servers. lol.

A console port and microtransactions? Wait, it’s EA so minimal effort and nickel and diming is the standard, here.

Good news because all PC versions need to be just basic ports. Computers sucks!
