Dead Space 3: Unlockable New Game Plus Modes
After finishing Dead Space 3, you’ll be able to play with a handful of new modes that change how the game plays in subtle ways. The most basic of these new modes just let Isaac, the hero of Dead Space 3, to start a new singleplayer campaign with your previous inventory and resources carried over. But, there are some interesting twists to the formula. The Classic mode makes Dead Space 3 closer to the previous two entries of the franchise, while Pure Survival limits resources and forces Isaac to craft. Check out all the unlockable modes below.

Unlockable New Game Plus Modes
- New Game+: New Game carrying over resources and inventory from your completed game. +3 Circuits and Mark 2 Overclocked Parts can be found. Available at any difficulty level.
- Classic: Only classic weapons can be built using blueprints, co-op is disabled, classic aiming is enabled, difficulty level is Hard. Unlocks the Devil Horns.
- Pure Survival: Enemies no longer drop health or ammo — everything must be crafted at the crafting bench, difficulty level is Hard. Unlocks a Mega resources deposit and the Mark 2 Overclocked Parts set.
- Hardcore: The entire game must be completed without dying. Game can be saved, but a death will reset you to the beginning. Unlocks Retro Mode. (NOTE: A known exploit exists for this mode. Whenever you save and quit to take a break, copy your saved game to a USB or alternate memory location to preserve your saved game if you die.)
