Dead Space Available for Free on Origin

Dead Space is free on Electronic Arts’ digital download service.

According to the game’s Origin page, users of the digital download service will be able to claim a free copy of its standard edition until May 8th, 2014.

Dead Space, of course, was originally released back in 2008 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The game, which followed engineer Isaac Clark’s attempts to escape a spaceship infested with hostile Necromorph’s, earned widespread critical acclaim for its survival horror experience from most sectors of the gaming press. It would go on to spawn two sequels.

Suffice it to say that if you like horror titles and have yet to play Dead Space, that this is about as opportune a chance as you’re going to get.

Hmm…

On the one hand, I’d have to use origin…

On the other hand, it’s free….

But I’d have to use origin…

But it’s free…
