The newest trailer for Dead Space from Electronic Arts arrived in our inboxes today, and what a treat that was. This has to be one of the creepiest “space” trailers that I have seen since incorporating aliens since the Alien movies. Remember when Sigourney Weaver was cuddled up in that Alien’s lap and they were caressing each other? Well, this is just as creepy and unsettling.
The Dead Space trailer not only shows a few well done cut-scenes, but some actual gameplay footage and I have to say that this is definitely a game that I am itching to play.

I hope that I have a high fever when I play this game. I recall playing Resident Evil 2 at like 2 or 3 in the morning when I had strep throat, and I was hallucinating from having such a high fever. That was one of the scariest experiences I’ve had in a game.

Self induced viral infections seem to be the only way to go then. LOL.

Expect me to take a couple of trips on the NYC subway, licking as many handrails as possible

I don’t know how many games i have played who was supposed to be “Scary”, but few games really got me spooked.
Really hope Dead Space is going to be one of those games.

I still stand by the fact that this is clearly Resident Evil meets Doom, however, EA continues to defy me in wanting to make this game good…damn them! I mean, errr…yeah, definitely look into this one.
