Developing Final Fantasy XIV for PS3 Is Tough, Pushes Back Release
“Technical problems” are holding up the release of Final Fantasy XIV for Playstation 3, according to producer Hiromichi Tanaka.
The MMO is still slated for PC release in September, but the PS3 was recently pushed back to 2011, Tanaka said in a recent interview with French site JeuxVideo. It’s developing the game for Sony’s console that’s hampering the release.
"If possible, we would publish the game sooner," he said. "We would like to start as soon as possible the beta on PS3."
